I was always dreaming about an other type of electric guitar. The simplest way I found, is to move the bridge to disturb the 12-tone guitar scale ratio fixed by the distance between bridge and nut. The frets' position on the neck was done to divide this distance-interval in 12 equal parts. By moving the bridge on rails modify this distance-interval, change the proportions and generates new scales. I have got 2 scales, one after the other: octave divided by quasi 9 tones and octave divided by quasi 8 tones (the second has 13 tones).
In the future I would like to put also the microphones on rails to get more room for moving the bridge. That will give a bigger distance to change the scale's ratio from micro- to macro-interval. If you are this handy[wo]man get passioned to release that incredible instrument, please contact me.
On the right side of the bridge I have 6 strings' lyre sounding like a steel drum. On the left side of the bridge when I turn off the left mic I get sounds like a Gamelan with gong. I can mute the right lyre-resonator strings and get a strange unknown string instrument. The tenses of the strings are soft, this gives me the possibility to modulate the timbre and the pitch like the usual portamento. The bass strings are very low tuning and the high strings very high, that makes the range quite large compare to normal guitar. I use a keyboard or bass and guitar coupled amplifier rather than traditional guitar amplifier that because of a larger spectrum.

There is a play of words with "St Ethiques" it sounds like "Synthetique" synthetic. This title says that we can make music beyond our western music theory.
